REGISTRATION CATEGORIES :

• Fullblood – Must be polled and originate from the foundation animals in the Bravado herd book. The IBBA board may also approve additions to the Fullblood book.

• Purebred – A mating of Fullblood and an Appendix animal or the mating of a Purebred with a Purebred. Must be polled – red or black.
• Appendix – must trace to one registered ear-influenced parent and have 1/8 or more Brahman genetics. Any Fullblood or Purebred calves that are born with horns are entered into the Appendix book. In order to compete in any IBBA sponsored show, Appendix animals must be Polled or cosmetically dehorned and comply with Bravado breed colors.
• Note: Polled animals and animals with scurs are both recognized as Polled. Animals can exhibit a small amount of white on the face, legs or underline – as long as the total amount of white is less than 25% of the coat color.

COSTS OF REGISTRATION :

• Registration $15 – Must be a IBBA member to register
• Transfer $10 – Must be a member to transfer
• Transfer over 60 days $20
