Bravado - A Careful Blending of Superior Cattle Genetics
The development of the Bravado breed of cattle began four decades ago. By carefully blending superior genetics from various sources – primarily registered Limousin and Brahman genetics - we were fortunate enough to create an entirely new breed. Today, virtually every animal in the International Bravado Breeders Association (IBBA) registry traces back to the first Polled Limousin cattle that were imported from Canada and the first polled cows originally selected to build the breed. For all of these years the breed founders have been mating polled bulls to polled females in order to concentrate to Polled gene.
